Help MUCS wrap up our Fundraising drive.

After months of dynamic planning, hard work and inspiring dedication by MUCS volunteers, board members, interns and staff, MUCS is wrapping up our annual campaign just in time for Valentine's Day. The final step is a call out to MUCS alumni, friends and collaborators to ask for their support and generosity. Over the past couple of weeks MUCS has been able to raise an unprecedented amount of money to keep the MUCS kitchen fully functional, ensure surplus food in our community does not go to waste and provide a safe space for people from all walks of life to come together to share their vision of an alternative economy. Back in November the MUCS fundraising commitee set an optimistic goal of raising 25,000$ by mid February, to date it has been a huge success. As of today MUCS has succesfully mobilized 22,369.55$ and we are hoping to close the gap before the chocolate flows on Valentine's Day (February 14, might want to jot that down..).There is only 2630.45$ standing between us and our goals.
